Carrick

The name signifies the southern portion of rural Ayrshire with Girvan and Maybole as the 2 major market towns, with the Rivers Girvan and Stinchar defining the picturesque valleys.

Ballantrae

Our local small, pretty village with an old harbour and beaches which now has a lovely garden centre and café where you can enjoy stunning views out to sea. Just along the coast is Sawney Bean's Cave that used to be the hide-out and home of Scotland's last known cannibal!

Waverley Paddle SteamerAyr Town

This is the largest town on the coast and remains a traditional seaside and market town. The only sea going paddle steamer, the Waverly, leaves from Ayr to cruise around the beautiful islands and sea lochs of the Firth of Clyde.
